Sustainable
At Wondercom, we work every day based on the premises
of sustainable development, whose scope goes far beyond
the strictly economic component generated by our businesses.
Our ‘DNA’ comprises a number of values and principles that guide our way of being and operating in the market, which we consider to be differentiating factors, crucial for us to exist as a responsible company committed to sustainability.
Therefore, our management model is based on principles of responsibility, not merely economic, but also environmental and social, because we believe that this is how we make a difference and lend our contribution to a better world for both current and future generations.
As an example of this, we are committed to global priorities that are materialized through our adherence to the BCSD Portugal Charter of Principles with the aim of promoting, among others, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Since that relevance, we grant health insurance to our employees, adopted a hybrid work scheme in functions where this is possible, granted access to a platform with discounts in the most diverse areas, provided access to an online training platform, among other actions…
Simultaneously, we also financially support social solidarity institutions helping people with disabilities.
In 2021, we promoted 1190 training courses that corresponded to 9691 training hours.
We also promote dozens of internships and protocols with vocational schools.
With employees aged between 18 and 61, 6% are of foreign origin and of 5 different nationalities.
Our top management is 100% female, more than 50% of the Management Team is female and more than 40% of non-technical positions are also held by women.
We are also part of the #CHANGETHEFACE and WECONNECT movements.
We are partners of CDP – Carbon Disclosure Project and as such we have goals for decarbonization.
With energy transition in mind, Wondercom is currently conducting a pilot-scale test related to the purchase of electric vehicles.
