In 2024, Wondercom celebrated 25 years of history. The first half of the year was marked by a strong dynamic of overcoming challenges and adapting in the Telecommunications, IT, and Energy sectors. At the operational level, the company significantly expanded its presence in Portugal. In the North, the new facilities in Gaia and on Avenida da Boavista stand out, in addition to the strengthening of the sales and support teams. In the Center, operations in Coimbra, Covilh\u00e3, and Entroncamento were boosted by the integration of new specialists and the focus on solar energy and electric mobility solutions, demonstrating a growing commitment to sustainability and logistical efficiency. A year marked by remarkable growth of 25%, driven by solid performance in the areas of Outsourcing, Energy, ICT and Field Marketing. \nAt that time we were living in a ground floor in a neighbourhood in Amadora. We were individuals full of dreams, slightly naive, with lots of stupid ideas and a tremendous work ethic and sense of sacrifice.<\/p>\n

We actually met some very brave and very special people. Little did we know that we were building the foundation of a company that would endure and shine for decades to come. And what was the secret? Now that’s a tough question. Perhaps the secret was “trust” – trust from the people and companies that gave us our first break, but also trust from the people who wanted to work for us and actually managed, time and time again, to meet the needs of our first clients.<\/p>\n

We were very young and daring, but what stood out was our tireless will to overcome the demands of everyday life. Two steps forward, one step back in a clumsy dance, but we had a vision: ‘we want to be a benchmark for telecommunication services on the Iberian Peninsula!’<\/p>\n

Wow!! Well, we were never short of ambition.
\nThe past is meant to be regret-free, just pure learning.

This phrase is a clich\u00e9, but it’s a clich\u00e9 that I’m really fond of. The present is a gift and the success of the present can never be taken for granted. It has to be conquered every day. The trust from everyone, our clients, our employees and partners, has to be earned every day. Again, there’s no shortage of ambition, we strive every day to be better, regardless of the setbacks. Like a dance, two steps forward, two steps back, two steps forward one step back… And what vision comes out of it? What have we built in the past that allows us to dream big? In the present, we further realize how important it is to have a trustworthy relationship with our clients, employees, and partners. Today we see our path built on three pillars: Field Service, Outsourcing and Enterprise Solutions, and we are targeting three markets: Telecommunications, Information Technology, and Energy.<\/p>\n

Today, history repeats itself and I realize, once again: ‘we have the right team to ensure the best technical and operational solutions for our clients.’

We want to be a benchmark in the telecommunications, energy, and information technology market, and we want to be so within the borders of Portugal. One day, when we are worthy and ready to seize the opportunity that will surely come, we will set off on an international adventure.<\/p>\n
